Open Call for Innovators

Take part in driving innovation and transformation in rural communities across Europe! RURACTIVE will soon be seeking European innovators - Startups, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, researchers - willing to co-develop smart solutions for its 12 pilot areas, the RURACTIVE Dynamos.

Innovators will be invited to answer the RURACTIVE Open Call and present solutions that address specific challenges within the scope of the RURACTIVE Rural Development Drivers:

Sustainable multimodal mobility
Energy transition and climate neutrality
Sustainable agri-food systems and ecosystem management
Culture and cultural innovation
Local services, health and wellbeing
Nature-based and cultural tourism

Selected applicants will integrate a programme offering equity-free funding, knowledge and tools to deploy their solution alongside local actors in real-life rural settings. Innovators will not just contribute to tangible impact and societal change, but also receive close support to replicate their projects in other regions and thus explore further business opportunities.
